The 3M™ Cubitron™ II 784F grinding belt is a specially designed and revolutionary medium to low-force cloth-based tool sharpening belt utilizing the 3M Cubitron II precision-ground ceramic grit. Thanks to this invented technology and the developed abrasive material, it provides a high machining speed for sharpening tools and uniform cutting through the material. In the process of grinding tools is self-sharpening abrasive grains, which provides a constant aggressiveness of the cutting and remains sharp throughout the long life of the abrasive without overheating the surface of the sharpening.
The abrasive used for the grinding belt is a mixture of fine-grained aluminum oxide and coarse-grained 3M Precision Ceramic Grain. This results in high productivity in sharpening tools and economic efficiency for medium-force sharpening.
Designed, depending on the choice of grit, for sharpening tools requiring high metal removal at a low pressure force with a high service life of the grinding belt. Suitable for sharpening all types of metals and alloys of kitchen, carving, table, chef's knives; tourist and hunting knives. It is a very special aggressive grinding material with a high resource for sharpening, especially in rough gradations.
